Bespoke brand LOCK-IT is the brainchild of South African Tarryn Lichter, a former graphic designer with a media and marketing background. Tarryn always had a passion for jewellery, which resulted in her starting up her own popular beaded range. The CHARM-IT range of charms, which are imported from America, were Taryn’s step into becoming one of the leaders in supplying covetable jewellery to local stores. CHARM-IT was an instant runaway success.
Tarryn quickly realised that what people really wanted was personalised and eye-catching jewellery pieces that they could customise to suit their needs. Since entering the market, LOCK-IT has become very desirable amongst people wanting something different to wear or buy as a gift.
“I believe that people love wearing accessories that express their own individuality,” says Tarryn. Currently, Lock-it can be found in about 160 stores nationwide and through a network of dedicated LOCK-IT agents.
